The Industrial and Agricultural Mobilization of Italy

The essay presents an overview of the most important aspects of the Italian war economy. The first section bring into focus the Industrial mobilization of the country, its output, and the effects of war demand on the industrial structure of the country. The second part deals with the agricultural production and the food policy: the latter was an aspect of great importance, given the country’s dependence on foreign imports.
