Abstract:
Spasticity is routinely defined as a motor disorder characterized by velocity-dependent increase in tonic stretch reflexes with exaggerated tendon jerks, resulting from hyper excitability of the stretch reflex as one component of the upper motor neuron syndrome [Lance 1980]
