Tirer en plein centre: lo scandalo di Michel Houellebecq

Michel Houellebecq has continuously portrayed himself as a hypersensitive artist, a parasite, an impostor or a buffoon, while in the last years has been defending and arguing his position, both publicly and firmly, against what he calls the new progressivism. This paper goes back over the debates of which Houellebecq has been the object since the 1990’s, and proposes an overview of his works.
