From Lolita to Lolita: Nabokov, Kubrick, Lyne

Analyse of two adaptations or intersemiotic translations from the novel "Lolita" by Nabokov: Kubrick's film and Lyne's film. The author proposes a semiotic methodology of comparative analyses.
The intersection between the two textual systems can produce different “equivalence strategies,” if we think of a tension between the two poles of similarity and difference, complicated by the possible choices among textual levels and among the forms and substances of expression and content.
