«Questo o quella per me pari sono». Note su un paio di anacronismi della legislazione elettorale

The voting phase in the Italian legal system is characterized by the presence of several anachronisms, including the division of electoral lists by gender and the inclusion of the marital surname for married or widowed women. These provisions seem to infringe on the personal identity of voters, as well as their privacy, and therefore a legislative reform or an intervention by the Constitutional Court is
desirable. In the meantime, mayors could also adopt measures to mitigate the harm these provisions cause to these rights, while still formally complying with the law.
