Abstract:
Personality, as coping strategies and self-efficacy can affect resilience, vulnerability to stress and the choice of behaviors that ca help to deal with psychological distress. Patients with medication-overuse headache have higher scores on the scales of anxiety and depression than patients with alcohol dependence. Patients with medication-overuse headache and patients with alcohol dependence do not share similar personality profile.
