Abstract:
Thyroid axis dysfunction seems to be a frequent feature (10.7%)
in subjects with PWS compared to the general population. However, we found
a lower prevalence of HT in our PWS subjects respect to other national database
that included fewer patients. Pediatricians should be aware of this association
so this possibility is considered while evaluating PWS patients.
