Italian Professors of Criminal Law’s Archives and Libraries: Models, Digitisation and Public Engagement
Progetto The research group envisions also the creation of an open access portal for publicising these descriptions, which will serve as a
model for a possible extension of the research to other archives and libraries of jurists. Thanks to the use of descriptive and
compatible standards, the web infrastructure will be integrated into the informative systems SIUSA, SIAS and SBN. The web portal
will be also a publication site for the inventories of the Ellero and Finzi’s archives. These finding aids will be produced using the open
source software Archimista, which guarantees a full interoperability with the portal SAN - Strumenti di Ricerca of the MIC.
Following the Linee guida per la digitalizzazione del patrimonio culturale (MIC, Digital Library), the project aims to digitise specific
archival series and rare and annotated printed books so representing a significant "intellectual and professional" project for the
realization of the objectives of the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR) within the investment context M1C3 1.1 ‘Strategia
digitale e piattaforme per il patrimonio culturale’.
