abstract:
The strong commitment to exchange rate stability, and exportdiversification are the main factors behind the successful performance of Jordan. The WTO accession in April 2000 marks the process of extensive trade liberalization pursued in recent years and is likely to continue to do so. The economic implications of preferential trade agreements with Arab and non-Arab countries meet Jordanian needs relatively well.
