Organizational design and people management

This chapter will examine the main issues related to both organizational design and human resource management. After an initial description of the key tenets of organizational theory, with reference to companies in traditional economic sectors, we will apply those principles to the case of cultural institutions, which is a particularly challenging environment from a managerial viewpoint.
