This chapter presents, in memory of Nuray Ergüneş who shared and applied this methodology on Turkey local governments, a new perspective in gender budgeting: well-being gender budgeting a form of public accounting that refers directly to the well-being of individuals defined as a list of capabilities and functionings (doings and beings) according to Amartya Sen and Martha Nussbaum’s capabilities approach. This contribution allows to understand the methodology and presents the tools that can be used to apply it.
