Educational research in museum settings: methodologies, tools and functions.

The volume aims to introduce the reader to the practices and tools of educational research in museum settings. Starting from the origin and the functions of museums and museum education, the focus is addressed on the main elements of museum research methodology, in order to give examples of educational programmes based on empirical designs, which will allow for the use and appreciation of cultural heritage.
