abstract:
This volume examines in more detail the relationship between knowledge and competence in secondary school and, presenting research project results, offers answers to the need for consistent solutions resulting from solid researches and analysis. The introduction of dual programmes in secondary school, in particular, strongly urges teachers to define, identify, develop and assess (currently) unspecified skills in disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields. The starting hypothesis led the research group to investigate whether critical thinking skills improve when writing practice resorts to stimuli of Italian literary origin. In detail, their progress is interpreted as the advancement from interpretation to argumentation
