abstract:
The aim of the chapter is to analyse the urgencies and needs that prompted the national and local community to re-connect the threads of the memorial discourse on deportation and on the Fossoli camp and the "promoters" of the different "memorial waves". The contribution will also address the tension between the memory of the Resistance and the memory of the deportation as well as the end of the "age of witness".
