Abstract:
The devolepment of the scientific knowledge makes the gap of the “savoir savant” vs the “common knowledge” wider and wider. Popularizing the Science has become therefore more and more difficult. This is even harder for the Mathematics. The video shown represents an attempt to get over the mentioned difficulties by using the Tangram game as a metaphor to explain first in a simple way methods and aspects which have always carachterized the development of Mathematics, and second, to against the main commonplaces about Mathematics, or at least to point the finger at them.
