Semi, frutti e legni da un pozzo di Sassari: uno spaccato di vita quotidiana di un centro urbano nella Sardegna del XIV secolo

The paper shows the preliminary results of archaeobotanical investigations in a well in the histor- ic center of Sassari (Sardinia). The well, which was used in the first half of the 14th century, was then filled with household waste. Seeds and fruits provided information on food; the numerous wooden fragments, especially of artifacts, have given back data on the use of wood and on the arboreal vegetation around the site.
