abstract:
Regulation of biological processes is carried out by complex arrays of molecular events, and is based on chemical signalling triggering responses that cross-communicate through intermediate effectors. A more advanced understanding and characterization of biological regulatory circuitry, and of the network resulting from signalling pathways will be obtained by the integration of information gathered by both reductionist and systemic approaches.
