Abstract: The aim of this paper is to provide an explanation of some internet crimes and of the main risks that internet users nowadays may face during the navigation. In the last few years, the Web was affected by the growth of crimes due to the modern ways of information sharing. Among the main issues taken into consideration, the Author especially analyses phenomena like the grooming (pedophilia), the social engineering, the breaches of contract in the online auctions and the spamming.
