Presented in Krasnoyarsk (Russia, 22-24 September 2016) during the 14th edition of the international conference ОБРАЗОВАНИЕ ЧЕРЕЗ ВСЮ ЖИЗНЬ: НЕПРЕРЫВНОЕ ОБРАЗОВАНИЕ В ИНТЕРЕСАХ УСТОЙЧИВОГО РАЗВИТИЯ (Lifelong learning: continuing education for sustainable development), this paper offers an overview on the evolution of the concept of intercultural education in Italy and in Europe, with special emphasis on some of the current best practices at school and in the urban spaces.
