After his MD degree (1991 at University of Verona, Italy; 110/110 magna cum laude), he completed the neurosurgery residency program at University of Verona (1996, 50/50). As Consultant, he managed all neurosurgical diseases, with particular interest on vascular and skull base brain tumor microsurgery.


Professional experience

2000-2011: Neurosurgeon at Neurosurgical Department in Padova.

2011-2017: Head of the Neurosurgical Department in Modena.

2018-present: Associate Professor of Neurosurgery, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia

Over 3000 surgeries as first operator, 900 aneurysm clipping and 100 AVMs.
