Research interest
My research topics concern the regularity theory for elliptic and parabolic PDEs, and for degenerate operators satisfying the hypoellipticity Hörmander condition.
The main focus of my scietific activity is concerned with the hypoelliptic degenerate Kolmogorov equations, that arise in kinetic theory and in some models of the financial markets. I developed the regularity theory for the classical solution, and I proved some results concerning the weak theory.I also studied some problems arising in finance, where Kolmogorov equations occur.
