Sviluppo e integrazione di Accumuli innovativi nelle Comunità Energetiche Rinnovabili – ID 37506 PG/2023/303961
Project The SACER project proposes a multi-level approach for modeling renewable energy communities (CER) and collective self-consumption groups (GAC) in the presence of networks allowing the exchange of electrical and thermal energy among prosumers. Such communities are of particular interest, considering the widespread adoption of urban heating networks in Emilia Romagna. The objective is to test new management logics for energy flows capable of maximizing savings and energy efficiency through the use of innovative electrical and thermal storage systems. Thermal storage systems can allow for both the storage of thermal energy surplus and act as a link between the electrical and thermal networks through the use of heat pumps. The project will investigate innovative thermal storage systems based on phase change materials (PCM) or thermochemical materials (TCM). From an electrical perspective, the optimal placement of electrical storage systems and the possibility of recovering heat from their cooling will be assessed. An IT application will be developed to analyze the performance of CERs based on the management of "energy exchange" elements constituted by the storage systems developed in the project.
