Sviluppo di un sistema innovativo di trattamento dei FANghi biologici depurati per la produzione di FERtilizzanti di alta qualità ID 38453 PG/2023/308389

Project
The project, which will unfold over 30 months, proposes an innovative approach for the sustainable management of sewage sludge and organic waste through the integration of patented microwave technology with bacteria and a compressed air system. The project's objective is to produce high-quality fertilizers from sludge and organic waste, with a reduction in toxic or hazardous organic components, such as persistent hydrocarbons, and to enhance fertilizer qualities. The proposed treatment allows for a reduction in the environmental impact of sludge and organic waste management by decreasing malodorous emissions through the inoculation of microorganisms. An analysis of the environmental impact of the process will complete its evaluation. The study of the industrialization of the integrated treatment process will be based on defining the logistical-production-plant structure supported by ergonomic and process safety analysis using artificial intelligence tools. The aim is to disseminate the proposed technology at a regional level, generating significant technological advancements for the production system and regional production chain, leading to economic, social, and environmental benefits.
