Adapted Information Management for existing Buildings Information Modeling

Project
The objective of the project is the creation of a new workflow based on the finalization of digital data from integrated survey towards "adaptive" BIM modeling. Through segmentation procedures of digital models, the amount of data obtained through various geomatic procedures is "broken down" to create an information population of the BIM model adapted to the needs of managing the intervention on the existing structure. In order to obtain an adapted informative implementation of parametric models, the data digital source will be segmented using Artificial Intelligence processes on specific themes (documentation, analysis, monitoring, project) and criteria (materials, techniques, components, structures, conservation), according to an optimization protocol for the survey-modelling process and for the thematic decomposition and population, applying the workflow on thematic tests. The result is an innovative and interdisciplinary BIM model: the thematic analysis of the segmented point cloud allows you to hierarchise, extract and manage specific parameters within the BIM model, helping to resolve the burden of direct and reiterated extractions and making management more efficient.
