Hydraulic SAFety and channel morphological QUALITY in the Panaro River: hydromorphological analysis for integrated river management
Project The main goals of the SAFEQUALITY project are to: i) investigate past changes in the Panaro River; ii) monitor its present geomorphological and hydraulic conditions; and iii) model its possible future evolution. To achieve these objectives, the project intends to develop an interdisciplinary approach, by integrating knowledge from hydraulic engineering (DIEF) and fluvial geomorphology (DSCG), with the final aim to improve both the morphological quality of the river and the hydraulic safety of the surrounding areas.
