Definizione e validazione sperimentale di procedure operative per la tutela dei lavoratori che operano in siti contaminati basate su misurazioni in continuo di sostanze pericolose aerodisperse e sulle caratteristiche climatiche e topografiche del sito ricavate dall’elaborazione di open-data ambientali.

The project aims to develop and validate an integrated approach for the assessment and management of the inhalation risk from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in contaminated sites, including during excavation and soil handling operations. The approach will be based on high spatiotemporal resolution continuous monitoring data (subsurface flux and air concentration) acquired through the monitoring system already developed by INAIL, integrated with dispersion models, source apportionment techniques, and decision-support software tools.
