On a model with hysteresis arising in magnetohydrodynamics

We study the flow of a conducting fluid surrounded by a ferromagnetic solid, under the influence of the hysteretic response of the surrounding medium. We assume that this influence can be represented by the Preisach model and show existence of a solution of the resulting nonlinear system of PDEs in the convexity domain of the Preisach operator. © 2007 Elsevier B.V.
