Abstract:
This paper compares a corpus of 10 French and 10 Italian Internet Dictionaries in order to discuss the presence and treatment of English borrowings related to the economic and financial crisis from the 2008 credit crunch, and briefly address the dynamics underlying the process of borrowing in relation to the national contexts in which borrowings are introduced.
