Abstract:

The paper is aimed at analysing the present condition of SMEs and micro businesses in the perspective of their access to the forthcoming single electronic market. The study of some real cases coming from recent RTD projects allows to identify the main needs of small companies and to derive requirements for the development of appropriate technological supports.
