Colloquio sull’integrazione sovranazionale. Intervista al prof. Giuseppe Tesauro (Napoli, 20 giugno 2021)

The interview explores the theme of supranational integration, considering this aspect of legal experience from the point of view of constitutional law, international law and, above all, European law. It is precisely at this last level that integration between legal systems is found to the highest degree, clearly distinguishing itself from the simple coordination carried out at the level of the usual international relations between States. Professor Tesauro also argues why, in this process, the Court of Justice has (legitimately) assumed a leading role and why the integration achieved by the “community of law” in the European legal experience is not only a fact to be fully realized, but also a value to be appreciated and defended.
