Abstract:
The clustered supramedullary neurons of D. holacanthus are similar in size and features to those of L. piscatorius, previously described. The Feulgen-DNA also is higher than that of other spinal cord cells.We believe that a DNA content much higher 2C is a characteristic common to the neuron of this cluster, present in different species of teleosts.
