• Fellow Scholar, Dept Molecular Biology, Hadassah Medical School, Hebrew University, 1985.
Ongoing Research Support
• Airc 2016 p.n. 19186 (co-PI with prof. Giuseppe Basso, Padova).
Main Research Topics
-Targeted therapy in hematological malignancies: how to overcome resistance to therapeutic kinase inhibitors in individual patients, based on a proteomic platform combined to metabolic phenotyping in an ex-vivo primary leukemia cell model. The ultimate goal is the dissection of molecular mechanisms driving resistance in individual leukemia patients, to personalize drug treatment (Bertacchini et al., Leukemia 2014; Serafin et al., Leukemia 2017)
Organizer of the following Workshop
• “Phosphorylation Signaling and Disease: Targets and Targeting”, September 27th, 2013, Modena-Italy
Editorial activity/editorial board membership
• Editorial Board member of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (2015-)
• Lead Guest Editor “Phosphorylation, signaling and disease: targets and targeting”, Biomed Res Int 2014
Bibliometrics
• Author or co-author of 79 full-length peer-reviewed papers published in international scientific journals .
• 2038 citations (Scopus).
• H-index 28 (Scopus).
• ANVUR-VQR evaluation of both products: excellent
