BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE RESEARCH ACTIVITY
For many years my research activity dealt with the study of the mechanism and the refining of synthetic methods based on Atom Transfer Radical chemistry (mainly cyclizations but also additions). Particular focus was directed to the development of methodologies suitable to scale-up and to industrial applicability.
From year 2016 I started more independent activities dealing with applied organic synthesis and materials chemistry, developing collaborations and projects in the field of sustainable chemistry / biorefineries or materials and energy (hydrogen economy) sector.
