CONDITION MONITORING & WIDEBAND GAP POWER ELECTRONICS - LEADING INNOVATIONS FOR THE EUROPEAN ENERGY SECTOR

Project
The project aims at developing advanced electronic technologies, based on wide and ultra-wide bandgap semiconductors, for the monitoring of the power electronics systems employed in the energy sector. Technologies include those based on Silicon Carbide for the realization of prototypes and pilot demonstrators at a TRL of 5-6, as well as first demonstration of diamond-based, 20kV field-effect transistors at a lower TRL.
