ACHIEVE-IT – Academic Collaboration through Higher International Education for a Viable and Equitable Africa with ITaly”
Project Considering the profound impact of culture and Higher Education (HE) in promoting social
inclusion, resilience and development as crucial drivers for sustainability, a collaborative
effort between Italian Partner Universities (IPUs) and Associated African Universities
(AAUs) was initiated within the ACHIEVE-IT project.
Through this collaboration, the promotion of Italian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in
Africa is focused on building a mutual bilateral exchange of knowledge and experience and
aims to support AAUs in their significant efforts to address unique challenges and
opportunities. The project intends to jointly realise academic standards that reflect the
excellence of Italian and African universities in the field of HE.
